After months of stressful wedding planning and a bout of pre-wedding jitters, you need something to lighten the mood before your big day. For Bachelor alum Arie Luyendyk Jr., his now-wife Lauren Burnham found the perfect thing to take the edge off his nerves. The groom revealed in a hilarious series of Instagram photos that Burnham surprised him before they exchanged their "I Do's" with a hilarious first look prank that is as cute as it is funny.

The photos show the groom, anxiously awaiting to see his bride for the first time, facing away from the camera. In the next shot, he turns around to find one of the couple's guy friends wearing a wedding dress and drinking a beer in place of Burnham. As you can imagine, he was as shocked as he was happy about the funny prank.

“I can't even begin to tell you how shocked I am, currently planning on how to get her back,” Luyendyk wrote alongside the prank photos. “S/O to @drhallo, you're a legend for playing along and I'm sorry this will be all over the internet in a few minutes lol!”

The couple tied the knot on January 12, 2019, at Haiku Mill in Maui, Hawaii. The ceremony's decor, which featured stunning greenery, was inspired by the teen romance movie Twilight. “She sent photos of the Twilight ceremony scene to show the hanging florals and arch,” a source told People of the couple's big day, which Bachelor host Chris Harrison officiated.

“It was an amazing day. Arie and Lauren wrote their own vows and both of them got choked up,” the source added.

The couple, who are currently expecting their first child later this year, revealed a week before the big day that their baby would be a girl.
